Domestic Airport
If you want to reach Haridwar by air, you can catch a flight from Delhi to Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. After your arrival at the airport, you will need to drive a distance of 20 km to reach Haridwar. Taxi cabs ply regularly from the airport to the town of Haridwar. This taxi ride will cost you around Rs 400. The airport of Jolly Grant operates regular flights to Delhi. It takes around 45 minutes by air to travel to Haridwar from Delhi.

Railway Station
A number of express and mail trains connect the town of Haridwar with all the major cities of India. Haridwar has railway connections with cities like Delhi, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Chennai, Dehradun, Bandra Terminus, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Howrah, Indore, Puri, Rishikesh, Varanasi, Ujjain etc. If you are reaching Haridwar from Delhi, the Dehradun Shatabdi Express (2017) is a good option.
